KJV + EL = Know you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) that the law has dominion over a man as long as he lives?

Rom./Röm. 7,2 Denn ein Weib/Frau, das unter dem Manne ist, ist an ihn gebunden durch das Gesetz, solange der Mann lebt; so aber der Mann stirbt, so ist sie los vom Gesetz, das den Mann betrifft.

KJV + EL = For the woman which has a husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he lives; but if the husband dies, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

1. Kor 7,39

Rom./Röm. 7,3 Wo sie nun eines anderen Mannes wird, solange der Mann lebt, wird sie eine Ehebrecherin geheißen/genannt; so aber der Mann stirbt, ist sie frei vom Gesetz, daß sie nicht eine Ehebrecherin ist, wo sie eines anderen Mannes wird.

Rom./Röm. 7,5 Denn da wir im Fleisch waren, da waren die sündigen Lüste, welche durch das Gesetz sich erregten, kräftig in unseren Gliedern, dem Tode Frucht zu bringen.

KJV + EL = For when we were in the flesh, sinful passions (passions of sins), which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit to death.

Rom./Röm. 7,6 Nun aber sind wir vom Gesetz los und ihm abgestorben, das uns gefangenhielt, also daß wir dienen sollen im neuen Wesen des Geistes und nicht im alten Wesen des Buchstabens.

KJV + EL = But now we are delivered from the law, being dead to that in which we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Rom./Röm. 7,7 Was sollen wir denn nun sagen? Ist das Gesetz Sünde? Das sei ferne! Aber die Sünde erkannte ich nicht außer durchs Gesetz. Denn ich wußte nichts von der Begierde (Lust), wo das Gesetz nicht gesagt hätte (2. Mo 20,17): »Du sollst nicht begehren (gelüsten)!«

KJV + EL = What shall we say then? is the law sin? By no means! However, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said (Exodus 20:17), you shall not covet.

Rom./Röm. 7,12 Das Gesetz ist ja heilig, und das Gebot ist heilig, recht und gut.

Rom./Röm. 7,13 Ist denn, das da gut ist, mir zum Tod geworden? Das sei ferne! Aber die Sünde, auf daß sie erscheine, wie sie Sünde ist, hat sie mir durch das Gute den Tod gewirkt, auf daß die Sünde würde überaus sündig durchs Gebot.

Rom./Röm. 7,16 So ich aber das tue, was ich nicht will, so gebe ich zu, daß das Gesetz gut ist.

Rom./Röm. 7,17 So tue ich nun dasselbe nicht, sondern die Sünde, die in mir wohnt.

Rom./Röm. 7,18 Denn ich weiß, daß in mir, das ist in meinem Fleische, wohnt nichts Gutes. Wollen habe ich wohl, aber vollbringen das Gute finde ich nicht.

KJV + EL = For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Rom./Röm. 7,19 Denn das Gute, das ich will, das tue ich nicht; sondern das Böse, das ich nicht will, das tue ich.

KJV + EL = For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

Rom./Röm. 7,20 So ich aber tue, was ich nicht will, so tue ich dasselbe nicht; sondern die Sünde, die in mir wohnt.

Rom./Röm. 7,21 So finde ich mir nun ein Gesetz, der ich will das Gute tun, daß mir das Böse anhangt (bei mir vorhanden ist).

Rom./Röm. 7,22 Denn ich habe Lust an JAHWEH’s Gesetz nach dem inwendigen Menschen.

KJV + EL = For I delight in the law of YAHWEH after the inward man:

Rom./Röm. 7,23 Ich sehe aber ein anderes Gesetz in meinen Gliedern, das da widerstreitet dem Gesetz in meinem Gemüte und nimmt mich gefangen in der Sünde Gesetz, welches ist in meinen Gliedern.

KJV + EL = But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Gal 5,17

Rom./Röm. 7,24 Ich elender Mensch! wer wird mich erlösen von dem Leibe dieses Todes?

KJV + EL = O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Rom./Röm. 7,25 Ich danke JAHWEH durch Jahschua den Messias, unserem HErrn. So diene ich nun mit dem Gemüte dem Gesetz JAHWEH’s, aber mit dem Fleische dem Gesetz der Sünde.

KJV+ EL = I thank YAHWEH through Yahshua the Messiah our Master. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of YAHWEH; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Chapter/Kapitel 8

Rom./Röm. 8,1 So ist nun nichts Verdammliches an denen, die in dem Messias Jahschua sind, die nicht nach dem Fleisch wandeln, sondern nach dem Geist.

KJV + EL = There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in the Messiah Yahshua, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

V. 33.34

Rom./Röm. 8,2 Denn das Gesetz des Geistes, der da lebendig macht in dem Messias Jahschua, hat mich frei gemacht von dem Gesetz der Sünde und des Todes.

KJV + EL = For the law of the Spirit of life in the Messiah Yahshua has made me free from the law of sin and death.
