MENGE = Jeder aber, der sich am Wettkampf beteiligen will, legt sich strenge Enthaltsamkeit auf, jene, um einen vergänglichen Kranz zu gewinnen, wir aber einen unvergänglichen.

1. Cor./Kor. 10,4 und haben alle einerlei geistlichen Trank getrunken; sie tranken aber vom geistlichen Fels, der mitfolgte, welcher war der Messias.

KJV + EL = And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was the Messiah.

1. Cor./Kor. 10,5 Aber an ihrer vielen hatte JAHWEH kein Wohlgefallen; denn sie wurden in der Wüste niedergeschlagen.

KJV + EL = But with many of them YAHWEH was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

1. Cor./Kor. 10,6 Das ist aber uns zum Vorbilde geschehen, daß wir nicht uns gelüsten lassen des Bösen, gleichwie jene gelüstet hat.
