Lk 2,44 Sie meinten aber, er wäre unter den Gefährten, und kamen eine Tagereise weit und suchten ihn unter den Verwandten (Gefreunden) und Bekannten.

KJV + EL = But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day‘s journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.

Lk 2,45 Und da sie ihn nicht fanden, gingen sie wiederum gen Jerusalem und suchten ihn.

KJV + EL = And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.

Lk 2,46 Und es begab sich, nach drei Tagen fanden sie ihn im Tempel sitzen mitten unter den Lehrern, wie er ihnen zuhörte und sie fragte.

KJV + EL = And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

Lk 2,47 Und alle, die ihm zuhörten, verwunderten sich seines Verstandes und seiner Antworten.

KJV + EL = And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

Lk 2,48 Und da sie ihn sahen, entsetzten sie sich. Seine Mutter aber sprach zu ihm: Mein Sohn, warum hast du uns das getan? Siehe, dein Vater und ich haben dich mit Schmerzen gesucht.

KJV + EL = And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said to him, Son, why have you thus dealt with us? behold, your father and I have sought you sorrowing.

Lk 2,49 Und er sprach zu ihnen: Was ist es, daß ihr mich gesucht habt? Wißt ihr nicht, daß ich sein muß in dem, was meines Vaters ist?

MENGE = Da antwortete er ihnen: Wie habt ihr mich nur suchen können? Wußtet ihr nicht, daß ich im Hause meines Vaters sein muß?

KJV + EL = And he said to them, How is it that you sought me? knew you not that I must be about my Father‘s business?

Lk 2,50 Und sie verstanden das Wort nicht, das er mit ihnen redete.

Lk 2,51 Und er ging mit ihnen hinab und kam gen Nazareth und war ihnen untertan. Und seine Mutter behielt alle diese Worte in ihrem Herzen.

Lk 2,52 Und Jahschua nahm zu an Weisheit, Alter und Gnade bei Elohim (G-tt) und den Menschen.

Lk 3,1 In dem fünfzehnten Jahr des Kaisertums Kaisers Tiberius, da Pontius Pilatus Landpfleger in Judäa war und Herodes ein Vierfürst in Galiläa und sein Bruder Philippus ein Vierfürst in Ituräa und in der Gegend Trachonitis und Lysanias ein Vierfürst zu Abilene,

KJV + EL = Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

Lk 3,2 da Hannas und Kaiphas Hohepriester waren: da geschah der Befehl (das Wort) JAHWEH’s zu Johannes, des Zacharias Sohn, in der Wüste.

KJV + EL = Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of YAHWEH came to John the son of Zachariah in the wilderness.

Lk 3,3 Und er kam in alle Gegend um den Jordan und predigte die Taufe der Buße zur Vergebung Sünden,

Lk 3,4 wie geschrieben steht im Buch der Reden des Propheten Jesaja (Jes 40,3-5): »Es ist eine Stimme eines Predigers in der Wüste: Bereitet den Weg JAHWEH's und macht seine Steige richtig (eben) (MENGE = 'ebnet ihm seine Pfade!')!

KJV + EL = As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, The voice of one crying, in the wilderness, Prepare the way of YAHWEH, make his paths straight;

Lk 3,5 Alle Täler sollen voll werden, und alle Berge und Hügel erniedrigt werden; und was krumm ist, soll richtig werden, und was uneben ist, soll schlichter Weg werden.

KJV + EL = Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

Lk 3,6 Und alles Fleisch wird den Heiland Gottes sehen.“

KJV + EL = And all flesh shall see the salvation of Elohim.

Lk 3,7 Da sprach er zu dem Volk, das hinausging, daß sich von ihm Taufen ließe: Ihr Otterngezüchte, wer hat denn euch gewiesen, daß ihr dem zukünftigen Zorn entrinnen werdet?

MENGE = ... “Ihr Schlangenbrut! wer hat euch darauf gebracht, dem drohenden Zorngericht entfliehen zu wollen?

KJV + EL = Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Lk 3,8 Seht zu, tut rechtschaffene Früchte der Buße und nehmt euch nicht vor zu sagen: Wir haben Abraham zum Vater. Denn ich sage euch: Elohim (G-tt) kann dem Abraham aus diesen Steinen Kinder erwecken.

KJV + EL = Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say to you, That Elohim (G-d) is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.

Lk 3,9 Es ist schon die Axt den Bäumen an die Wurzel gelegt; welcher Baum nicht gute Früchte bringt, wird abgehauen und in das Feuer geworfen.

KJV + EL = And now also the ax is laid at the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fir.

Lk 3,10 Und das Volk fragte ihn und sprach: Was sollen wir denn tun?

KJV + EL = And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?

Lk 3,11 Er antwortete aber und sprach zu ihnen: Wer zwei Röcke hat, der gebe dem, der keinen hat; und wer Speise hat, der tue auch also.

KJV + EL = He answers and said to them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has meat, let him do likewise.

Lk 3,12 Es kamen auch die Zöllner, daß sie sich taufen ließen, und sprachen zu ihm: Meister, was sollen denn wir tun?

KJV + EL = Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said to him, Master, what shall we do?

Lk 3,13 Er sprach zu ihnen: Fordert nicht mehr, denn gesetzt ist.

KJV + EL = And he said to them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.

Lk 3,14 Da fragten ihn auch die Kriegsleute und sprachen: Was sollen denn wir tun? Und er sprach zu ihnen: Tut niemand Gewalt noch Unrecht und laßt euch genügen an eurem Sold.

KJV + EL = And the soldiers likewise demanded (asked) of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said to them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

Lk 3,15 Als aber das Volk im Wahn war und dachten in ihren Herzen von Johannes, ob er vielleicht der Messias wäre,

KJV + EL = And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Messiah, or not;

Joh 1,19-28

Lk 3,16 antwortete Johannes und sprach zu allen: Ich taufe euch mit Wasser; es kommt aber ein Stärkerer nach mir, dem ich nicht genugsam bin, daß ich die Riemen seiner Schuhe auflöse; der wird euch mit heiligem Geist und mit Feuer taufen.

KJV + EL = John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet (thong) of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with holy Spirit and with fire:

Lk 3,17 In seiner Hand ist die Wurfschaufel, und er wird seine Tenne fegen und wird den Weizen in seine Scheuer sammeln, und die Spreu wird er mit dem ewigen Feuer verbrennen.

KJV + EL = Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
