As this is an international conference with participants from many different countries, we are providing simultaneous interpretation from/into four languages, German, English, French and Spanish.
There are interpreters present and translation services are available in(English, German, etc.).
Those who have difficulty following the discussion, please indicate this to our staff. They will make sure you have headphones so that the translation can be made available to you.
The headphones you will find at your seats allow you to hear the desired translation on Channel 1 for German, Channel 2 for English, etc.
There is a channel selector knob on these receivers which you can use to choose the language you wish to listen to.
If you wish to ask a question, please speak into the microphone.
When you speak, don´t wait for the interpretation. Please continue as people can understand and follow the interpretation.
When you are not speaking, please turn off your microphone / mute your line.(stumm schalten, z.B. bei Telefonkonferenz).
Please note that you are personally liable for the return of the headphones and we kindly ask you to pick them up and hand them over to the hostesses in the conference office at the end of each conference day. They can then be recharged and ready for use again during the next conference day.

Several copying machines and scanners in the hall and in the conference office will be at your disposal.
If you need to dispose of any waste paper and documents, you are welcome to use a shredder in the conference office.
