Ps 42,4 Wenn ich des innewerde, so schütte ich mein Herz aus bei mir selbst; denn ich wollte gerne hingehen mit dem Haufen und mit ihnen wallen zum Hause Gottes [Elohims] mit Frohlocken und Danken unter dem Haufen derer, die da feiern.

KJV + EL = When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of Elohim, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

Ps 42,5 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und bist so unruhig in mir? Harre auf Gott [Elohim]! denn ich werde ihm noch danken, daß er mir hilft mit seinem Angesicht.

Ps 42,6 Mein Gott [Elohim], betrübt ist meine Seele in mir; darum gedenke ich an dich im Lande am Jordan und Hermonim, auf dem kleinen Berg.

KJV + EL = O my Elohim, my soul is cast down within me: Therefore will I remember you from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.

Ps 42,7 Deine Fluten rauschen daher, daß hier eine Tiefe und da eine Tiefe brausen; alle deine Wasserwogen und Wellen gehen über mich.

KJV + EL = Deep calls to deep at the noise of your waterfalls: All your waves and your billows are gone over me.

Ps 88,8

Ps 42,8 JAHWEH hat des Tages verheißen seine Güte, und des Nachts singe ich ihm [wird sein Lied bei mir sein] und bete zu dem Gott [El] meines Lebens.

KJV + EL = Yet YAHWEH will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer to the El of my life.

Ps 42,9 Ich sage zu Gott [El], meinem Fels: Warum hast du mein vergessen? Warum muß ich so traurig gehen, wenn mein Feind mich drängt?

KJV + EL = I will say to El my rock, Why have you forgotten me? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Ps 42,10 Es ist als ein Mord/ Zermalmung in meinen Gebeinen, daß mich meine Feinde schmähen, wenn sie täglich zu mir sagen: Wo ist nun dein Gott [Elohim]?

Psalm 43

Ps 43,1 Richte mich, O Gott [Elohim], und führe meine Sache wider das unheilige/ gesetzlose Volk [Nation] und errette mich von den falschen und bösen Leuten.

KJV + EL = Judge me, O Elohim, and plead my cause against an lawless nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.

Ps 26,1

Ps 43,2 Denn du bist der Gott [Elohim] meine Stärke; warum verstößest du mich? Warum läßt du mich so traurig gehen, wenn mich mein Feind drängt?

KJV + EL = For you are the Elohim of my strength: Why do you cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

Ps 43,3 Sende dein Licht und deine Wahrheit, daß sie mich leiten und bringen zu deinem heiligen Berg und zu deiner Wohnung,

Ps 43,4 daß ich hineingehe zum Altar Gottes [Elohims], zu dem Gott [El], der meine Freude und Wonne ist, und dir, O Gott [Elohim], auf der Harfe danke, mein Gott [Elohim].

Psalm 44

Ps 44,1 Eine Unterweisung der Kinder Korah, vorzusingen. O Gott [Elohim], wir haben‘s mit unseren Ohren gehört, unsere Väter haben‘s uns erzählt, was du getan hast zu ihren Zeiten vor alters.

KJV + EL = To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, Maschil. We have heard with our ears, O Elohim, our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the times of old.

5. Mose 6,20-25

Ps 44,2 Du hast mit deiner Hand die Nationen (Heiden) vertrieben, aber sie [unsere Väter] hast du eingesetzt; du hast die Völker verderbt, aber sie [unsere Väter] hast du ausgebreitet.

KJV + EL = You did drive out the nations with your hand, but them you planted: You did afflict the people, and cast them out.

Ps 44,3 Denn sie haben das Land nicht eingenommen durch ihr Schwert, und ihr Arm half ihnen nicht, sondern deine Rechte, dein Arm und das Licht deines Angesichts; denn du hattest Wohlgefallen an ihnen.

KJV + EL = For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: But your right hand, and your arm, and the light of your countenance, because you had a favor to them.

Ps 44,4 Du, O Gott [Elohim], bist mein König, der du Jakob Hilfe verheißest.

KJV + EL = You are my King, O Elohim: command deliverances for Jacob.

Ps 74,12

Ps 44,5 Durch dich wollen wir unsere Feinde zerstoßen; in deinem Namen wollen wir untertreten, die sich wider uns setzen.

KJV + EL = Through you will we push down our enemies: Through your name will we tread them under that rise up against us.

Ps 44,6 Denn ich verlasse mich nicht auf meinen Bogen, und mein Schwert kann mir nicht helfen;

KJV + EL = For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

Ps 44,7 sondern du hilfst uns von unseren Feinden und machst zu Schanden, die uns hassen.

KJV + EL = But you have saved us from our enemies, and have put them to shame that hated us.

Ps 44,8 ELBERFELDER 1871 = In Gott [Elohim] rühmen wir uns den ganzen Tag, und deinen Namen werden wir preisen/ danken ewiglich. (Sela.)

KJV + EL = In Elohim we boast all the day long, and praise / thanks to your name forever. Selah.

Ps 44,9 Warum verstößst du uns denn nun und läßt uns zu Schanden werden und ziehst nicht aus unter unserem Heer?

KJV + EL = But you have cast off, and put us to shame; and go not forth with our armies.

Ps 44,10 Du läßt uns fliehen vor unserem Feind, daß uns berauben, die uns hassen.

KJV + EL = You make us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us take plunder for themselves.

Ps 44,11 Du läßt uns auffressen wie Schafe und zerstreust uns unter die Nationen (Heiden).

KJV + EL = You have given us like sheep appointed for food; and have scattered us among the nations.

Ps 44,12 Du verkaufst dein Volk umsonst und nimmst nichts dafür.

KJV + EL = You sell your people for nothing, and do not increase your wealth by their price.

Ps 44,13 Du machst uns zur Schmach unsern Nachbarn, zum Spott und Hohn denen, die um uns her sind.

KJV + EL = You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.

Ps 79,4; 1. Kön 9,7

Ps 44,14 Du machst uns zum Beispiel/ Sprichwort unter den Nationen (Heiden) und daß die Völker das Haupt über uns schütteln.

KJV + EL = You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the people.
