Ps 71,18 Auch verlaß mich nicht, O Gott [Elohim], im Alter, wenn ich grau werde, bis ich deinen Arm verkündige Kindeskindern und deine Kraft allen, die noch kommen sollen.

KJV + EL = Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O Elohim, forsake me not; until I have showed your strength to this generation, and your power to every one that is to come.

V. 9; Jes 46,4

Ps 71,19 O Gott [Elohim], deine Gerechtigkeit ist hoch, der du große Dinge tust. O Gott [Elohim], wer ist dir gleich?

KJV + EL = Your righteousness also, O Elohim, is very high, who has done great things: O Elohim, who is like to you!

2. Mose 15,11

Ps 71,20 Denn du lässest mich erfahren viele und große Angst und machst mich wieder lebendig und holst mich wieder aus der Tiefe der Erde herauf.

Ps 71,21 Du machst mich sehr groß und tröstest mich wieder.

Ps 71,22 So danke ich auch dir mit Psalterspiel für deine Treue, O mein Gott [Elohim]; ich lobsinge dir auf der Harfe, O du Heiliger in Israel.

Ps 71,23 Meine Lippen und meine Seele, die du erlöst hast, sind fröhlich und lobsingen dir.

KJV + EL = My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to you; and my soul, which you have redeemed.

Ps 71,24 Auch dichtet meine Zunge täglich von deiner Gerechtigkeit; denn schämen müssen sich und zu Schanden werden, die mein Unglück suchen.

KJV + EL = My tongue also shall talk of your righteousness all the day long: For they are confounded, for they are brought to shame, that seek my hurt.

Psalm 72

Ps 72,1 Des Salomo, O Gott [Elohim], gib dein Gericht dem König und deine Gerechtigkeit des Königs Sohne,

KJV + EL = A Psalm of Solomon. Give the king your judgments, O Elohim, and your righteousness to the king‘s son.

Ps 72,2 daß er dein Volk richte mit Gerechtigkeit und deine Elenden rette.

KJV + EL = He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.

Ps 72,3 Laß die Berge den Frieden bringen unter das Volk und die Hügel die Gerechtigkeit.

KJV + EL = The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.

Ps 85,9-14

Ps 72,4 Er wird das elende Volk bei Recht erhalten und den Armen helfen und die Lästerer zermalmen.

KJV + EL = He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.

V. 12

Ps 72,5 Man wird dich fürchten, solange die Sonne und der Mond währt, von Kind zu Kindeskindern / von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht.

KJV + EL = They shall fear you as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

Ps 72,6 Er wird herabfahren wie der Regen auf die Aue, wie die Tropfen, die das Land feuchten.

KJV + EL = He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

Ps 72,7 Zu seinen Zeiten wird erblühen der Gerechte und großer Friede, bis daß der Mond nimmer ist.

KJV + EL = In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.

Ps 72,8 Er wird herrschen von einem Meer bis ans andere und von dem Strom an bis zu der Welt Enden.

KJV + EL = He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth.

Sach 9,10

Ps 72,9 Vor ihm werden sich neigen die in der Wüste, und seine Feinde werden Staub lecken.

KJV + EL = They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.

Jes 49,23

Ps 72,10 Die Könige zu Tharsis und auf den Inseln werden Geschenke bringen; die Könige aus Reicharabien und Seba werden Gaben zuführen.

KJV + EL = The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

Ps 68,30; Jes 60,9

Ps 72,11 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Und alle Könige werden vor ihm niederfallen, alle Nationen ihm dienen.

KJV + EL = Yes, all kings shall fall down before him: All nations shall serve him.

Ps 2,8.10-12

Ps 72,12 Denn er wird den Armen erretten, der da schreit, und den Elenden, der keinen Helfer hat.

KJV + EL = For he shall deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him that has no helper.

Hiob 36,15; Ps 35,10

Ps 72,13 Er wird gnädig sein den Geringen und Armen, und den Seelen der Armen wird er helfen.

Ps 72,14 Er wird ihre Seele aus dem Trug und Frevel erlösen, und ihr Blut wird teuer geachtet werden vor ihm.

KJV + EL = He shall redeem their souls from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.

Ps 9,13

Ps 72,15 Er wird leben, und man wird ihm von Gold aus Reicharabien/ von dem Golde Schebas geben. Und man wird immerdar für ihn beten; täglich wird man ihn segnen/ ihm Segen wünschen.

KJV + EL = And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.

V. 10; Ps 84,10

Ps 72,16 Auf Erden, oben auf den Bergen, wird das Getreide dick stehen; seine Frucht wird rauschen wie der Libanon, und sie werden grünen wie das Gras auf Erden.

KJV + EL = There shall be a handful of grain in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: And they of the city shall flourish like the grass of the earth.

Ps 72,17 Sein Name wird ewiglich bleiben; solange die Sonne währt, wird sein Name auf die Nachkommen reichen, und sie werden durch denselben gesegnet sein; alle Nationen (Heiden) werden ihn preisen.

KJV + EL = His name shall endure forever: His name shall be continued as long as the sun: And men shall be blessed in him: All nations shall call him blessed.

Ps 72,18 Gelobt ist JAHWEH, Gott [Elohim], der Gott [Elohim] Israels, der allein Wunder tut;

KJV + EL = Blessed is YAHWEH Elohim, the Elohim of Israel, who only does wondrous things.

Ps 72,19 und gelobt ist sein herrlicher Name ewiglich; und alle Lande müssen seiner Ehre voll werden! Amen, Amen.

KJV + EL = And blessed is his glorious name forever: And let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen.

Ps 41,14; Jes 6,3

Ps 72,20 Ein Ende haben die Gebete Davids, des Sohnes Isais.

KJV + EL = The prayers of David the son of Jesse are ended.

Psalm 73

Ps 73,1 Ein Psalm Asaphs. Israel hat dennoch Gott [Elohim] zum Trost, wer nur reines Herzens ist.

KJV + EL = A Psalm of Asaph. Truly Elohim is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

Ps 73,2 Ich aber hätte schier gestrauchelt mit meinen Füßen; mein Tritt wäre beinahe geglitten.

KJV + EL + WEBSTER = But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had almost slipped.

Ps 94,18

Ps 73,3 Denn es verdroß mich der Ruhmredigen (beneidete die Übermütigen), da ich sah, daß es den Gesetzlosen (= ELBERFELDER) so wohl ging.

KJV + EL = For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked/ the lawless.

Hiob 21,7

Ps 73,4 Denn sie sind in keiner Gefahr des Todes, sondern stehen fest wie ein Palast.

KJV + EL = For there are no pains in their death: but their strength is firm.

Ps 73,5 Sie sind nicht in Unglück wie andere Leute und werden nicht wie andere Menschen geplagt.

KJV + EL = They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

Ps 73,6 Darum muß ihr Trotzen köstlich Ding sein, und ihr Frevel muß wohl getan heißen.
