Psalm 148

Ps 148,1 HalleluJah! Lobet im Himmel JAHWEH; lobet ihn in der Höhe!

KJV + EL = HalleluYah! Praise you YAHWEH from the heavens: praise him in the heights.

Ps 148,2 Lobet ihn, alle seine Engel; lobet ihn, all sein Heer!

KJV + EL = Praise him, all his angels: praise him, all his hosts.

Ps 103,20-22

Ps 148,3 Lobet ihn, Sonne und Mond; lobet ihn, alle leuchtenden Sterne!

KJV + EL = Praise him, sun and moon: praise him, all you stars of light.

Ps 148,4 Lobet ihn, ihr Himmel allenthalben und die Wasser, die oben am Himmel sind!

KJV + EL = Praise him, you heavens of heavens, and you waters that be above the heavens.

Ps 148,5 Die sollen den Namen JAHWEH’s loben; denn er gebot, da wurden sie geschaffen.

KJV + EL = Let them praise the name of YAHWEH: for he commanded, and they were created.

Ps 148,6 Er hält sie immer und ewiglich; er ordnet sie, daß sie nicht anders gehen dürfen.

Ps 148,8 Feuer, Hagel, Schnee und Dampf, Sturmwinde, die sein Wort ausrichten;

Ps 148,9 Berge und alle Hügel, fruchtbare Bäume und alle Zedern;

KJV + EL = Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:

Ps 148,10 Tiere und alles Vieh, Gewürm und Vögel;

KJV + EL = Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:

Ps 148,11 ihr Könige auf Erden und alle Völker, Fürsten und alle Richter auf Erden;

KJV + EL = Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:

Ps 148,12 Jünglinge und Jungfrauen, Alte mit den Jungen!

KJV + EL = Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children:

Ps 148,13 Die sollen loben den Namen JAHWEH’s; denn sein Name allein ist hoch , sein Lob geht, soweit Himmel und Erde ist.

KJV + EL = Let them praise the name of YAHWEH: for his name alone is excellent ; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

Ps 148,14 Und erhöht das Horn seines Volkes. Alle Heiligen sollen loben, die Kinder Israel, das Volk, das ihm dient. HalleluJah!

KJV + EL = He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. HalleluYah!

Ps 149,1 HalleluJah! Singet JAHWEH ein neues Lied; die Gemeinde der Heiligen soll ihn loben.

Ps 149,2 Israel freue sich des, der es gemacht hat; die Kinder Zions seien fröhlich über ihren König.

Ps 149,3 Sie sollen loben seinen Namen im Reigen; mit Pauken und Harfen sollen sie ihm spielen.

KJV + EL = Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises to him with the timbrel and harp.

Ps 149,4 Denn JAHWEH hat Wohlgefallen an seinem Volk; er hilft den Elenden herrlich.

KJV + EL = For YAHWEH takes pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Ps 149,5 Die Heiligen sollen fröhlich sein (in Herrlichkeit) und preisen und rühmen auf ihren Lagern.

KJV + EL = Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Ps 149,6 LUTHER + ELBER-FELDER 1871 = Ihr Mund soll Gott [El] mit Lob erheben,und ein zweischneidiges Schwert in ihrer Hand,

KJV + EL = Let the high praises of El be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

Ps 149,7 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = daß sie Rache üben an den Nationen(Heiden), Bestrafungen an den Völkerschaften;

KJV + EL = To execute vengeance upon the nation, and punishments upon the people;

Ps 149,8 ihre Könige zu binden mit Ketten und ihre Edlen mit eisernen Fesseln;

KJV + EL = To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

Ps 149,9 daß sie ihnen tun das Gericht (Recht), davon geschrieben ist. Solche Ehre werden alle seine Heiligen haben. HalleluJah!

KJV + EL = To execute upon them the judgment written: this honor have all his saints. Praise you YAH [YAHWEH]. HalleluYah!

Ps 150,1 HalleluJah! Lobet Gott [El] in seinem Heiligtum; lobet ihn in der Feste seiner Macht!

KJV + EL = HalleluYah! Praise El in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

Ps 150,2 Lobet ihn in seinen Taten; lobet ihn in seiner großen Herrlichkeit!

KJV + EL = Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Ps 150,3 Lobet ihn mit Posaunen; lobet ihn mit Psalter und Harfe!

KJV + EL = Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Ps 150,4 LUTHER + ELBERFELDER 1871 = Lobet ihn mit Tamburin und Reigen; lobet ihn mit Saitenspiel und Pfeifen!

KJV + EL = Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and pipe.

Ps 150,5 Lobet ihn mit hellen Zimbeln (Cymbeln); lobet ihn mit wohlklingenden Zimbeln!

KJV + EL = Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
