Ps 144,1 Ein Psalm Davids. Gelobet sei JAHWEH, mein Hort, der meine Hände lehrt streiten und meine Fäuste kriegen,

Ps 18,35

Ps 144,2 meine Güte und meine Burg, mein Schutz und mein Erretter, mein Schild, auf den ich traue, der mein Volk unter mich zwingt.

KJV + EL = My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdues my people under me.

Ps 18,3

Ps 144,3 JAHWEH, was ist der Mensch, daß du dich sein annimmst, und des Menschen Kind, daß du ihn so achtest?

KJV + EL = YAHWEH, what is man, that you take knowledge of him! or the son of man, that you make account of him!

Ps 8,5

Ps 144,4 Ist doch der Mensch gleich wie nichts; seine Zeit fährt dahin wie ein Schatten.

KJV + EL = Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passes away.

Ps 144,5 O JAHWEH, neige deine Himmel und fahre herab; rühre die Berge an, daß sie rauchen;

Ps 144,6 laß blitzen und zerstreue sie; schieße deine Strahlen und schrecke sie;

Ps 144,7 strecke deine Hand aus von der Höhe und erlöse mich und errette mich von großen Wassern, von der Hand der Kinder der Fremde,

KJV + EL = Send your hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;

Ps 144,8 deren Mund redet unnütz (Eitelkeit), und ihre Werke sind falsch.

KJV + EL = Whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

V. 11

Ps 144,9 O Gott [Elohim], ich will dir ein neues Lied singen, ich will dir spielen auf dem Psalter von zehn Saiten,

KJV + EL = I will sing a new song to you, O Elohim: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises to you.

Ps 33,2.3

Ps 144,10 der du den Königen Sieg gibst und erlöst deinen Knecht David vom mörderischen Schwert des Bösen.

KJV + EL = It is he that gives salvation unto kings: who delivers David his servant from the hurtful sword.

Ps 144,11 Erlöse mich auch und errette mich von der Hand der Kinder der Fremde, deren Mund redet unnütz (Eitelkeit), und ihre Werke sind falsch,

KJV + EL = Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaks vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:

Ps 144,12 daß unsere Söhne aufwachsen in ihrer Jugend wie die Pflanzen, und unsere Töchter seien wie die ausgehauenen Erker, womit man Paläste ziert;

KJV + EL = That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

Ps 128,3

Ps 144,13 daß unsere Kammern voll seien und herausgeben können einen Vorrat nach dem andern; daß unsere Schafe tragen tausend und zehntausend auf unsern Triften;

KJV + EL = That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:

Ps 144,14 daß unsere Ochsen viel erarbeiten; daß kein Schade, kein Verlust noch Klage auf unsern Gassen sei.

KJV + EL = That our oxen may be strong to labor; that there be no breaking in, and no going forth; and that there be no outcry in our streets.

Ps 144,15 Wohl dem Volk, dem es also geht! Wohl dem Volk, des Gott [Elohim] JAHWEH ist!

KJV + EL = Happy is that people, that is in such a case: Yes, happy is that people, whose Elohim is YAHWEH.

Psalm 145

Ps 145,1 Ein Lob Davids. Ich will dich erheben, mein Gott [Elohim], du König, und deinen Namen loben immer und ewiglich.

KJV + EL + WEBSTER = David’s [Psalm] of praise. I will extol you, my Elohim, O king; and I will bless your name forever and ever.

Ps 145,2 Ich will dich täglich loben und deinen Namen rühmen immer und ewiglich.

KJV + EL = Every day will I bless you; and I will praise your name forever and ever.

Ps 145,3 JAHWEH ist groß und sehr löblich, und seine Größe ist unausforschlich.

KJV + EL = Great is YAHWEH, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Ps 145,4 Kindeskinder werden deine Werke preisen und von deiner Gewalt sagen.

KJV + EL = One generation shall praise your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.

Ps 145,5 Ich will reden von deiner herrlichen, schönen Pracht und von deinen Wundern,

KJV + EL = I will speak of the glorious honor of your majesty, and of your wondrous works.

Ps 145,6 daß man soll sagen von deinen herrlichen Taten und daß man erzähle deine Herrlichkeit;

KJV + EL = And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: and I will declare your greatness.

Ps 145,7 daß man preise deine große Güte und deine Gerechtigkeit rühme.

KJV + EL = They shall abundantly utter the memory of your great goodness, and shall sing of your righteousness.

Ps 145,8 Gnädig und barmherzig ist JAHWEH, geduldig und von großer Güte.

KJV + EL = YAHWEH is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

2. Mose 34,6

Ps 145,9 JAHWEH ist allen gütig und erbarmt sich aller seiner Werke.

KJV + EL = YAHWEH is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

Röm 11,32

Ps 145,10 Es sollen dir danken, O JAHWEH, alle deine Werke und deine Heiligen dich loben

KJV + EL = All your works shall praise you, O YAHWEH; and your saints shall bless you.

Ps 145,11 und die Ehre deines Königreiches rühmen und von deiner Gewalt reden,

KJV + EL = They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power;

Ps 145,12 daß den Menschenkindern deine Gewalt kund werde und die herrliche Pracht deines Königreichs.

KJV + EL = To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

Ps 145,13 Dein Reich ist ein ewiges Reich, und deine Herrschaft währet für und für (durch alle Geschlechter).

KJV + EL = Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.

Ps 145,14 JAHWEH erhält alle, die da fallen, und richtet auf alle, die niedergeschlagen sind.

KJV + EL = YAHWEH upholds all that fall, and raises up all those that are bowed down.

Ps 146,8; Luk 1,52

Ps 145,15 Aller Augen warten auf dich, und du gibst ihnen ihre Speise zu seiner Zeit.

KJV + EL = The eyes of all wait upon you; And you give them their food in due season.

Ps 104,27.28; 136,25

Ps 145,16 Du tust deine Hand auf und erfüllst alles, was lebt, mit Wohlgefallen.

KJV + EL = You open your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Ps 145,17 JAHWEH ist gerecht in allen seinen Wegen und heilig in allen seinen Werken.

KJV + EL = YAHWEH is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
