»Meine Kindlein, solches schreibe ich euch, auf daß ihr nicht sündigt. Und wenn jemand sündigt, so haben wir einen Fürsprecher bei dem Vater, Jahschua den Messias, der gerecht ist.

Und derselbige ist die Versöhnung für unsere Sünde, nicht allein aber für die unseren, sondern auch für die der ganzen Welt.

Und an dem merken wir, daß wir ihn kennen, so wir seine Gebote halten.

Wer da sagt: Ich kenne ihn, und hält seine Gebote nicht, der ist ein Lügner, und in solchem ist keine Wahrheit.

Wer aber sein Wort hält, in solchem ist wahrlich die Liebe JAHWEH's vollkommen. Daran erkennen wir, daß wir in ihm sind.

Wer da sagt, daß er in ihm bleibt, der soll auch wandeln, gleichwie er gewandelt hat.«

»My little children, these things write I to you, that you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Yahshua the Messiah the righteous:

and he is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

And by this we know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

But whoever keeps his word, in him verily is the love of YAHWEH perfected: By this we know that we are in him.

He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.«

»Ich habe euch nicht geschrieben, als wüßtet ihr die Wahrheit nicht, sondern ihr wisst sie und wisst, daß keine Lüge aus der Wahrheit kommt.

Wer ist ein Lügner, wenn nicht, der da leugnet, daß Jahschua der Messias / der Gesalbte ist (und ihn zum zweiten Gott erklärt)?

Das ist der Antichrist/Anti-Messias/Widerchrist, der den Vater und den Sohn leugnet.

Wer den Sohn leugnet (den Sohn zum zweiten Gott erklärt!), der hat auch den Vater nicht; wer den Sohn bekennt, der hat auch den Vater.

Was ihr nun gehört habt von Anfang, das bleibe bei euch.

So bei euch bleibt, was ihr von Anfang gehört habt, so werdet ihr auch bei dem Sohn und dem Vater bleiben.

Und das ist die Verheißung, die er uns verheißen hat:

DAS EWIGE LEBEN.«

»I have not written to you because you do know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

Who is a liar but he that denies that Yahshua is the Messiah (and pronounce him to a second god)?

He is the Antichrist/Antimessiah, that denies the Father and the Son.

Whoever denies the Son (pronounce the Son to a second god!), the same has not the Father: he that confesses the Son has the Father also.

Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

And this is the promise that he has promised us, -

THE ETERNAL LIFE.«

»Dies aber muß ich befehlen: Ich kann es nicht loben, daß ihr nicht zu eurem Nutzen (auf bessere Weise), sondern zu eurem Schaden (auf ärgere Weise, zum Schlechteren) zusammenkommt.

Zum ersten, wenn ihr zusammen kommt in der Gemeinde, höre ich, es seien Spaltungen unter euch; und zum Teil glaube ich es.

dankte und brach es und sprach: Nehmet, esset, das ist mein Leib, der für euch gebrochen/hingegeben wird, solches tut zu meinem Gedächtnis .

Desgleichen auch den Kelch nach dem Abendmahl und sprach: Dieser Kelch ist der neue Bund in meinem Blut, solches tut, so oft ihr trinkt, zu meinem Gedächtnis .

Denn so oft ihr von diesem Brot eßt und von diesem Kelch trinkt, sollt ihr des HErrn Tod verkündigen, bis daß er kommt.

Welcher nun unwürdig von diesem Brot ißt oder von dem Kelch des HErrn/Jahschuas trinkt, der ist schuldig an dem Leib und Blut des HErrn/Jahschuas.

Der Mensch prüfe aber sich selbst, und also esse er von diesem Brot und trinke von diesem Kelch.

Denn welcher unwürdig ißt und trinkt, der ißt und trinkt sich selber zum Gericht, damit, daß er nicht unterscheidet den Leib des HErrn.«

For first of all, when you come together in the assembly, I hear that divisions exist among you; and I partly believe it.

For there must also be factions/heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

For I have received of the Master that which also I delivered to you, That the Master Yahshua the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

And when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me .

After the same manner also he took the cup, after he had eaten, saying, This cup is the new convenant in my body: this do you, as often as you drink, in remembrance of me .

For as often as you eat this bread, and drink the cup, you do proclaim/show the Master's death till he comes.

Therefore whoever shall eat the bread, and drink the cup of the Master/Yahshua, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Master/Yahshua.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Master's body.«
