Получив результаты анализа ДНК, этот парень нашел определенный участок своей Y-хромосомы (тот, что передается от отца к сыну) еще у двух человек с одинаковой фамилией, дальних родственников по отцовской линии. Их фамилии вкупе с местом и датой рождения его отца оказалось достаточно, чтобы его вычислить.
