Eventually, my physical frame, through a combination of Yoga exercises, Meditation, the Holographic Parables and a good diet, was able to travel between dimensions with ease.
When I asked some details about why I had to go through the very strict discipline I was enduring, the short answer Swami gave me was that once my body was able to do something, given the holographic nature of the Universe, everyone else could do it too. Hence, I understood that I was being used as some kind of prototype that would be re-produced later on.
We really are what we eat but, as Swami has said so many times, our diet is everything that gets into our body through the senses, whether we are talking about sounds, images or thoughts, so it was obvious that we had to keep away from the temptations to which most people are exposed to on a daily basis.
We talk about unconditional love because that is humanity’s only chance of reunifying with itself, with its true essence. That’s the proposal of this humble program.
Our intention in presenting this work that we carry out day by day is simply to show that it is possible to live in another way, so as to exist in harmony with the world around us.
The size of our home, its location in time and space, and all the possible variables in our lives, are simply malleable aspects of a malleable reality.
The apparent solidity of the universe is an illusion that has limited us for generations. The restrictions that beset us have been established by ourselves, based on outdated information that we should at least revisit to determine if it still serves its purpose, or if it should be replaced by something new that is more in line with the times that we’re living.
The reactions of most people approaching us in search of information are generally positive. At the same time, our proposal seems to sound more like a utopia than something perfectly palpable and practical. We live this way. We grow the food we eat and we do not pollute the environment in which we live.
This is possible. We are neither saints nor special beings, but human beings like you. But we don’t let anyone tell us what’s right and what’s wrong.
Our life on the farm is not for everyone, that is clear to us, but we still believe that the opposite, namely, life in a big city, is not viable either.
Food should be grown on its natural environment, the soil, not in laboratories or factories.
When we talk about humanity needing to return to the garden, we are referring to the fact that only by witnessing the wonderful process of creation that occurs when you grow your own food, would human beings be able to understand that society has been misled by a group of multinational companies that don’t have a recognizable identity and that, by using some very clever marketing tricks, control us so easily.
Governments in many countries are ruled by the laws dictated by these monsters without identity or decency. But, because we are the ones electing the governments, we are at least in part responsible for what is happening in our society. We should be in control of our lives and stop blaming the very monsters we helped to create.
By establishing communal vegetable gardens, we can enrich our lives in so many ways that at the moment are beyond our reach.
On the other hand, there is something positive about big cities that is often overlooked, the large number of people living in them and the variety of cultures are, when they are put to good use, a wonderful asset to us all.
By being part of a community, our children will acquire some skills and knowledge that may not have commercial value, at least initially, but that will prepare them for life.
Once again, Sri Sathya Sai Baba has said “NO DISEASE CAN ATTACK A HEALTHY BODY”, and that is our sole source of inspiration.
Diseases are the by-product of a society deeply immersed in its own ignorance. No one needs to be sick. We’re all going to die one day, for everything that was once born will have to die, but, although some pain is unavoidable, we don’t need the suffering.
“... IT IS SIGNIFICANT TO NOTE THAT THOSE WHO LIVE ON VEGETARIAN FOOD ARE LESS PRONE TO DISEASES, WHEREAS NON-VEGETARIANS ARE SUBJECT TO MORE DISEASES. WHY? BECAUSE ANIMAL FOOD IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE NEEDS OF THE HUMAN BODY.”
Sri Sathya Sai Baba, summer showers 1990, p. 34.
Our own foolishness has kept us trapped in a dimension in which the deceptive physical characteristic of creation does not allow us to see the Light.
In other words, the Light is being blocked by the density of the apparent “solidity” of matter.
But all this could be changed in an instant if we were to consider adopting some of the suggested techniques offered in the present text.
The rigidity of our thoughts is largely due to our diet.
If we would even consider introducing some basic changes in the way we feed ourselves, we could have access to all the dimensions that have been denied to us so far.
It is the fear of trying something new that prevents us from taking the quantum leap to greatness, nothing more.
When I talk about diet, I’m referring to everything we consume, whether it is edible, liquid, sound or visual.
To listen to gossip is to choose a bad diet.
The rude sounds coming from machinery, cars, wars, etc., constantly assault us and raise our stress levels to unimaginable heights.
The senseless violence, that can be seen on television programs and on many of the films being offered to humanity on a daily basis, is getting us used to the idea that mistreating other beings is acceptable, keeping in mind, of course, that we should make sure we can avoid paying the price stipulated by society by making up some useless excuse to justify our behaviour.
But, even if we could escape the law of men, nothing would free us from the law of Karma.
The list might continue, but anyone can find clear examples of the consequences of feeding our kids all this aggression. Loud noises make us to lose our balance and prevent us from thinking. The consequences of all this are in plain sight for all to see.
My conclusion is simple, as we continue to mistreat ourselves in this way, things will remain complicated and it will be harder to find the right path to follow.
Every day we read or hear comments from people who either complain about their suffering and discomfort, or who feel sorry for people who are victims of their own distress.
We could make all that reality disappear in an instant, if we wanted to. It is up to us.
We only have to open our minds to the alternatives that the Universe is offering us, those simple choices that will replace pain and injustice.
Chapter 3 Observing our reality. The secrets of fragmentation, the impermanence of the cosmos and our role in creation.
“YOUR THOUGHTS WILL CREATE THE PERSON YOU ARE, SO WATCHING YOUR THOUGHTS IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD DO CONSTANTLY FOR YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE…”
Your Baba
The apparently uncomplicated act of observing generates a series of inevitable consequences in our reality and it can easily muddle up the way we live.
We, as human beings living in the third dimension, cannot observe anything without judging it.
In fact, the very act of observing someone or something is an inevitably judgemental function of our brain that we, humans, use all the time as our daily living goes on.
We, like puppies that chew on everything to familiarize themselves with whatever comes their way, tend to gauge everything that gets our attention and we usually place every occurrence into different columns on an imaginary book that we have kept since we first had a thought during our infancy.
We will use this “book” to compare new events with old ones as a way of understanding our environment.
