KJV + EL = Saying, Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Ps 105,16 Und er ließ Teuerung ins Land kommen und entzog allen Vorrat des Brots.

KJV + EL = Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: He brake the whole staff of bread.

Ps 105,17 Er sandte einen Mann vor ihnen hin; Joseph wurde zum Knecht verkauft.

Ps 105,18 Sie zwangen seine Füße in den Stock, sein Leib mußte in Eisen liegen,

Ps 105,20 ELBERFELDER 1871 = Der König sandte hin und ließ ihn los, der Herrscher über Völker, und befreite ihn;

KJV + EL = The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

Ps 105,21 Er setzte ihn zum Herrn/ Aufseher über sein Haus, zum Herrscher über alle seine Güter,KJV + EL = He made him overseer of his house, and ruler of all his substance:

Ps 105,22 daß er seine Fürsten unterwiese nach seiner Weise und seine Ältesten Weisheit lehrte.

KJV + EL = To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

Ps 105,23 Und Israel zog nach Ägypten, und Jakob wurde ein Fremdling im Lande Hams.

KJV + EL = Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

Ps 105,24 Und er ließ sein Volk sehr wachsen und machte sie mächtiger denn ihre Feinde.

KJV + EL = And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.

2. Mose 1,7.12

Ps 105,25 Er verkehrte jener Herz, daß sie seinem Volk gram wurden und dachten, seine Knechte mit List zu dämpfen.

KJV + EL = He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtly with his servants.

Ps 105,26 Er sandte seinen Knecht Mose, Aaron, den er erwählt hatte.

KJV + EL = He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.

Ps 105,27 Dieselben taten seine Zeichen unter ihnen und seine Wunder im Lande Hams.

KJV + EL = They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

2. Mose 3-12

Ps 105,28 Er ließ Finsternis kommen und machte es finster; und sie waren nicht ungehorsam seinen Worten.

KJV + EL = He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

Ps 105,29 Er verwandelte ihre Wasser in Blut und tötete ihre Fische.

KJV + EL = He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

Ps 105,30 Ihr Land wimmelte Frösche heraus in den Kammern ihrer Könige.

KJV + EL = Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.

Ps 105,31 Er sprach: da kam Ungeziefer, Stechmücken in all ihr Gebiet.

KJV + EL = He spoke, and there came swarms of flies, and gnats in all their borders.

Ps 105,32 Er gab ihnen Hagel zum Regen, Feuerflammen in ihrem Lande

KJV + EL = He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

Ps 105,33 und schlug ihre Weinstöcke und Feigenbäume und zerbrach die Bäume in ihrem Gebiet.

KJV + EL = He struck their vines also and their fig trees; and broke the trees of their borders.

Ps 105,34 Er sprach: da kamen Heuschrecken und Käfer/ Grillen ohne Zahl.

KJV + EL = He spoke, and the locusts came, and the grasshopper, and that without number,

Ps 105,35 Und sie fraßen alles Gras in ihrem Lande und fraßen die Früchte auf ihrem Felde.

KJV + EL = And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

Ps 105,36 Er schlug alle Erstgeburt in Ägypten, alle Erstlinge ihrer Kraft.

KJV + EL = He struck also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

Ps 105,37 Und er führte sie aus mit Silber und Gold; und war kein Gebrechlicher unter ihren Stämmen.

KJV + EL = He brought them forth also with silver and gold: And there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

2. Mose 12,35

Ps 105,38 Ägypten wurde froh, daß sie auszogen; denn ihre Furcht/ ihr Schrecken war auf sie gefallen.

KJV + EL = Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.

Ps 105,39 Er breitete eine Wolke aus zur Decke und ein Feuer, des Nachts zu leuchten.

KJV + EL = He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.

2. Mose 13,21

Ps 105,40 Sie baten: da ließ er Wachteln kommen; und er sättigte sie mit Himmelsbrot (= Manna!).

KJV + EL = The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven (= manna).

Ps 105,41 Er öffnete den Felsen: da floß Wasser heraus, daß Bäche liefen in der dürren Wüste.

KJV + EL = He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.

2. Mose 17,6

Ps 105,42 Denn er gedachte an sein heiliges Wort, das er Abraham, seinem Knecht, hatte geredet.

KJV + EL = For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

Ps 105,43 Also führte er sein Volk in Freuden und seine Auserwählten in Wonne

KJV + EL = And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

Ps 105,44 und gab ihnen die Länder der Nationen (Heiden), daß sie die Güter der Völker einnahmen,

KJV + EL = And gave them the lands of the nations: and they inherited the labor of the people;

Ps 105,45 auf daß sie halten sollten seine Rechte/ Satzungen und sein Gesetze bewahren. Halleluja!

KJV + EL = That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. HalleluYah!

Psalm 106

Ps 106,1 Halleluja. Danket JAHWEH; denn er ist freundlich, und seine Güte währet ewiglich.

KJV + EL = O give thanks to YAHWEH; for he is good: for his mercy endures forever.

Ps 106,2 Wer kann die großen Taten JAHWEH’s ausreden und alle seine löblichen Werke preisen?

KJV + EL = Who can utter the mighty acts of YAHWEH? Who can show forth all his praise?

Ps 106,3 Wohl denen, die das Gebot halten und tun immerdar recht!

KJV + EL + LUTHER = Blessed are they that hold the commandment/ keep justice, and he that does righteousness at all times!

Ps 106,4 JAHWEH, gedenke mein nach der Gnade, die du dem Volk verheißen hast; beweise uns deine Hilfe,

KJV + EL = Remember me, O YAHWEH, with the favor that you bear to your people: Oh visit me with your salvation;

Ps 106,5 daß wir sehen mögen die Wohlfahrt deiner Auserwählten und uns freuen, daß es deinem Volk wohl geht, und uns rühmen mit deinem Erbteil.

KJV + EL = That I may see the good of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with your inheritance.

Ps 106,6 Wir haben gesündigt samt unseren Vätern; wir haben mißgehandelt/ unrecht getan und sind gesetzlos(= ELBERFELDER) gewesen.
