1. The AVR is especially designed for brushless alternators. 2. The alternator voltage is fed to the AVR unit via fuses and exciter switch.

3. The reference level of the alternator voltage is set by the voltage adjusting, potentiometer. 4. The main parts of the AVR are built as one unit, including voltage build-up circuit and excitation switch. 5. A-c voltage is fed from the alternator via supply transformer to the thyristor bridge. 6. The regulators permit to obtain constant voltage of generators under various amount of load and power factor.

Особенности перевода на русский язык инфинитивных конструкций

Английский язык

1. Инфинитив, определяющий существительное и выражающий действие, которое должно произойти в будущем.

Е. g. The amount to be paid (=which is to be paid) includes the cost of packing.

2. Инфинитив, выражающий цель. Ему может предшествовать союз so as или in order.

Русский язык

1. Переводится определительным придаточным предложением с глаголом-сказуемым, выражающим долженствование.

Пример. Сумма, которая должна быть уплачена, включает стоимость упаковки.

2. Переводится придаточным предложением цели, вводимым союзом «чтобы».

E. g. We invited the surveyor (in order) to see what had happened with the rotor.

3. Оборот «именительный падеж с инфинитивом» в составе предложения со сказуемым, выраженным следующими глаголами в страдательном залоге: to say, to state, to report, to believe, to suppose, to consider, to know, to expect, to seem, etc.

E. g. The generator is expected to be repaired by the end of April.

Пример. Мы пригласили сюрвейера, чтобы он посмотрел, что случилось с ротором.

3. Переводится глаголом в личной форме в составе придаточного дополнительного предложения, которому предшествуют неличные слова, соответственно, «говорят», «заявляют», «сообщают», «думают», «(пред) полагают», «считают», «известно», «ожидается», «кажется».

Пример. Ожидается, что генератор будет отремонтирован к концу апреля.
