— Here you are. (She gave two hundred rubles and asked to drive the boy to the place). I was driving along Pyatnitskoye Highway, suddenly somebody rang the boy (may be a friend). The boy repeated several times that he would call when he came home. And I thought if he asked to stop then it was certainly a setup. And he asked. I answered that it was too late and didn’t stop. When we reached the building, the boy got out of the car, entered the stairwell (so he had a key and lived in that stairwell). I came back to the bus stop in Mitino. The boy could go out of the stairwell and go away. But in Moscow almost every building has a camera and they fixed that situation. If the boy had disappeared there wouldn’t have been any questions to me. What would have happened if I had stopped on Pyatnitskoye Highway and dropped the boy? I think you can guess. Somebody thumbed and asked to give a lift to somewhere in Solnechnogorsk for 7,350 rubles. Then the setup began. There are also cameras along Pyatnitskoye Highway but not everywhere.

There are areas where there are not cameras, let's call them blind zones. It is clear that the mounting would occur in such a zone, I would enter this zone with other cars at the same time and leave with them under the cameras. Formally, this would seem like so: I took the boy, witnesses are my coworkers and I drove from camera to camera out of town. Three hours later I came back, the boy disappeared and I would not be believed.

* * *

It was 2 a.m. We were waiting for clients. There was no work. I came up to my friend Vlad and said that I would go home. On my way home there was a man. He was thumbing. He was about thirty-five years old. Distinguishing feature is that he is bald.

— Drive me to Kitay-gorod

— How much?

— As much as you like

— Let’s go

He gave me 5,000 rubles. I said that there was no change. He suggested stopping by the petrol station. I said that I had had no work all day so there was a full tank. He suggested again filling just one litre. I said when there was a shop I would stop and we would break 5,000 note. We were talking all the way. He started to behave himself as a killer from Hollywood movies. I began to suspect a setup and felt nervous. I stopped at the shop near Sokol station, he entered the shop. He broke money and paid me. He constantly repeated that it was important to park well in the centre. And he said that if I waited for him he would go back to Mitino.

— You should pay for waiting

— How much?

— 400 rubles per hour

He promised to give 500 rubles per hour for waiting. I agreed. We stopped at the traffic lights in Tverskaya street. I noticed my coworkers Sasha and Tolya and waved my hand to them. They also waved to me. A passenger asked at once “Do they know you or your car?” ”Both”. Then somebody rang him and he spoke English or Latin. Then he repeated the phrase “don’t leave”, said something about his wife and put away his telephone. I thought that something was wrong. We were in Maroseyka street, turned to Spasoglinishchevsky pereulok. He asked me if I knew how to get to the block of flats in Kotelnicheskaya street. I answered that I didn’t know. Then we were in Solyanka street. He said to go straight and then turn left (to Podkolokolny pereulok). In that place you have to drive on the wrong side of the road. I hadn’t been there for a long time but I remembered that if I turned left and then right I would be in the right place. I did so. And saw a sign “Do not enter”. I turned right to Podkopaevsky pereulok. There was a road to the left (Bolshoy Tryohsvyatitelsky pereulok). The passenger said: “Let’s go there” and showed. I thought that we had to go straight. And I went straight along Podkopaevsky pereulok. In a few seconds he said that we were driving correct and thanked me. We stopped. He said to park there and to wait about an hour. He rang somebody, came up to the door and entered. I drove away quickly.

How can you understand this situation? There are a lot of cameras in Moscow, but there are also a lot of blind zones. And there are no cameras in the centre at all (near Duma or the Kremlin). Thus, the passenger tried to lead me in such blind zones. And if I had done as he wanted and waited for him there would have been a setup. I would enter the blind zone and would be there for an hour, while the same “Volga” left that zone. To make the same license plate is not a problem. That another “Volga” commits a crime. For example, it takes a girl under the camera, drives her for a short period of time, stopped under another camera and in forty minutes they kicked down the girl with torn dress. Bruises and cuts are fixed later when the police are called. This Volga goes to Mitino.

So onlooking is a car comes from Mitino, commits a crime and goes back to Mitino. And there are a lot of “Volga” cars in Mitino. Try to find. So that passenger asked to stop by the petrol station. Because there are cameras there and they can see a driver and license plate. Also all the petrol stations are well-lit. But I drove by the petrol stations and the passenger began to feel nervous. And I said hello to my friends in Tverskaya intentionally. So the passenger rang somebody and called off the setup.

If I hadn’t done that I would have been identified.

During the questioning I would expain why I drove on the wrong side of the road if I am a taxi driver with twenty-year experience.

When I was in Pokopaevsky pereulok the passenger asked me to turn left. In a day I knew that it was the shortest way to the block of flats in Kotelnicheskaya street (Remember? He asked me about it). He tried to lead me to Solyanka street from the other side to the blind zone on the wrong side of the road. When he didn’t manage to do it he rang and went away. But what if they managed to make this setup? Would I be put in prison for rape? I don’t know. They wouldn’t have my sperm.

From the other hand, if they were real setups, I wrote Part 4 “Russian Mafia in the USA” not for nothing. So to avoid this situation it is necessary to drive with a drive recorder. I have got it and used it in my last car. But I have bought another car recently. It has a defect. When I turn on the light (I drive mainly at night-time), a cigarette lighter doesn’t work. So there is nowhere to charge the recorder.

In conclusion there is some advice:

— Do not break traffic rules

— Keep your car in good order (especially cigarette lighter)

If you don’t follow these rules you can be put in prison for fifteen years.

P.S. To develop such schemes it is necessary to know police work (special investigation activities, where cameras are installed etc.) Who gives GRU this information? It can be received only from police officers. In Moscow it is forbidden for GRU to hire policemen. But they hire. And for this work they get medals and earn enormous salary.
