Love would be desperately needed here. But it is already so weakened that it is barely operational. It is like a plant that needs to be nourished and cherished. It requires attention, so that it can grow and spread. Love is also like the flame of a candle: it can burn and glow wonderfully, but for that it needs the food it receives via the wick from the wax. - When it is deprived of this nourishment, it will die.
