Sawyer’s nerves were on edge for the upcoming nights’ activities. Dylan had hinted at there being a new sub in the picture and he was curious as to what kind of woman he would be dealing with.

As he was getting ready, a text message chirped over his phone.

SarahH: 5:22 PM: I hear you’re going to scene tonight! I’m so excited for u! I’m extremely disappointed I won’t be in attendance to watch the show but please let me know all the juicy details. Have fun!

Upset that Sarah wouldn’t be there to lend a hand or participate in whatever Dylan had planned, he wondered why Sarah had chosen not to go.

S.M.: 5:25 PM: Is there a reason you won’t be there?

SarahH: 5:27 PM: Late shift at work. :( I’ll be with u in spirit. I’ll be available to answer any questions u may have throughout the night and I’ll do my best to be quick with my responses.

S.M.: 5:29 PM: Quick? What are you suggesting? I’m a man of great stamina and QUICK is not a word in my vocab. Slow, methodical and precise are, however.

SarahH: Oh, my. That’s going to be one lucky sub tonight. *panting*

S.M.: 5:33 PM: I hope she feels lucky and not experimented on. I must admit to feeling a bit apprehensive seeing as Young hasn’t fully disclosed the plans.

SarahH: 5:34 PM: Just be true to yourself and your wants, and try different things. Take in everything around u, smells, sounds, ambiance, and burn them into your memory so u can replay them over and over like a movie. Cameras aren’t allowed in the club, but maybe Isa can paint me a naughty image of you in action. I hear she’s good at that sort of thing. ;)

S.M.: 5:35 PM: She is. I’ll suggest it to her. I’ll keep you informed throughout the night. Be vigilant at work and we’ll speak later.

SarahH: 5:37 PM: As u wish, Mr. Morrison. U be safe as well. :*

Sawyer thought it odd that Sarah was excited to hear of his experiences with other women, but the openness that Sarah urged from him was beginning to kindle a fire within him. Would he have sex with this new sub or would there just be playtime? Sawyer hadn’t exactly been keen on the idea of being pleasured in front of a group of people, but having watched multiple scenes it put his mind at ease a bit.

Damn Sarah’s work for keeping her from being with him. Shit, he didn’t even know where she worked. Irked with himself for not having sought that information out, he texted Sarah back.

S.M.: 5:45 PM: Where is it exactly that you work?

SarahH: 5:48 PM: Rocky Mountain Mental Inst. I’m a medication aide.

Sawyer’s stomach did a flip-flop. One of Dylan’s many ex-lovers was being held there, and the very same woman who stalked him and Isabel and set forth a chain of events that led to Isabel’s kidnapping, attempted rape and shooting. Sawyer thought back to when he had paid the head-case a visit and how acidic her reaction to him had been. He had been disgusted to find out she had been one of the players who had leaked the Young’s sex videos to the public. That woman was a prime example of psychotic bitchery at its best. And Sarah was working in the same building where she was being housed because of her mental instability and murderous tendencies.

Sawyer quickly felt protective of her, knowing if she ever found out that Sarah was in contact with Dylan, Isa and himself, she would stop at nothing to exact her revenge for her perceived loss of Dylan and her hatred for Isabel. Sawyer regretted not having permanently taken care of the lethal cunt when he had the chance.

S.M.: 5:50 PM: I know the kind of people that are being treated there. You’re safety means everything to me.

SarahH: 5:58 PM: Thank u for your concern and kind words, but there’s no need to worry. Almost everyone at that facility is dangerous in some way and it’s just part of the job. Unfortunately I have no control over it.

Like hell there wasn’t any reason to worry. If Sarah knew how dangerous Dylan’s ex was, she might think differently. He wasn’t in the mood to try and explain everything. He would deal with the situation immediately on his own knowing that the ultimate decision was out of Sarah’s hands anyway.

S.M.: 6:05 PM: Understood. We’ll speak later.

Sawyer promptly retrieved his files on Dylan’s psychotic ex via remote access and the physician whom he had spoken with the night he visited the institute. The man had been very receptive to Sawyer and was sympathetic to Isabel and Dylan’s problems. Hopefully he could help.

He called the man’s personal cell phone, hoping the physician remembered him.

“This is Sawyer Morrison. We met last year,” he stated, getting right to the point.

“Yes, I remember you - tall, dark and dangerous. And very well put together, too, I might add.”

Sawyer was thrown off balance by the psychiatrist’s comment. “Thank you. I’m calling about an employee at the Institute named Sarah Henderson. I can’t express how important it is that Sarah has no contact with the person who attacked the Youngs.”

“I see. Well, I’ll do what I can. May I ask why?”

“It’s a bit difficult to explain, but… she’s an acquaintance and I’m concerned for her safety.”

“You’re going through an awful lot of effort for just an acquaintance, ” the physician remarked.

“She’s actually more like a friend.”

“A girlfriend?”

Why the hell was this guy so interested in Sawyer’s personal life? “Not exactly. She’s one of my subs,” he stated frankly.

“Just my luck. Ah well, I’d be happy to try and help out. Keep me in mind if you ever decide to take on any male subs,” the man sighed, defeated.

Sawyer had been hit on by a man and was at a loss for words. The doctor was quite handsome and well-to-do from what Sawyer remembered, and he felt strangely proud to have attracted him, regardless of whether or not he wanted to get pegged by him.

“If I ever decide to swing that way, I’ll keep you in mind, Dr. Phillips.” Sawyer chuckled.

The man laughed and ended the conversation pleasantly, and Sawyer drove to the club.

Once inside, he was met by Dylan and Isabel.

“Thanks for the panty treatment, Sawyer,” Isabel pouted.

Sawyer grinned proudly in response. “Anytime Young needs help deciding your punishment, I’d be happy to help out, Cookie.” He was okay with helping decide, so long as he didn’t have to be the one actually handing it out.

Isabel opened her mouth to respond but quickly snapped her mouth shut when Dylan squeezed her arm. “Not here, Isa. Show Morrison the same respect you show me in this club. Is that understood?” he spoke in his fiercest disciplinarian tone.

Isa’s eyes averted to the floor. “Yes, Master. My apologies, Sawyer. I’d be honored if you had a decision in my punishment,” she answered obediently, even though he could hear the distinct attitude in her voice.

“That’s better, but not much,” Sawyer said as he rolled his eyes at Dylan.

Dylan lifted one side of his mouth and nodded in agreement. “There’s someone I want you to meet. Her name is Kate, but around here we call her Sam.”

Sawyer thought it was an odd nickname. Isabel’s eyes shot up to Dylan’s and she smiled impishly. “You’re evil, Dylan.”

“What? Sawyer needs to experience all types of submissives, not just the dutiful ones.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Sawyer asked.

“Kate is known for being…” Dylan paused thoughtfully, scratching his chin and then continuing. “Quite a handful. Let’s see how you deal with her. I’ve set up a scene for the two of you tonight. I’m a man of my word and I trust when all is said and done, she’ll be begging you to be either fucked or punished.”
