Note:This can be made in larger batches, too, keeping this same ratio of chocolate to butter/oil. 
I use Halloween pumpkins that I cut up, skin, cook and mash the day after Halloween night. I make sure not to carve them until just before dark, and take them inside when the trick-or-treaters stop coming. I store the pumpkins in the refrigerator until I can process them, and the mashed pumpkin freezes very well.
