Warily he carried Rhalina along the path (он осторожно понес Ралину по тропинке), tugging himself free from the vines and blooms that sought to hold him and kiss him (освобождая от виноградных лоз и цветков, которые пытались схватить его и поцеловать; to tug — тащить, дергать ), and at last he reached the shore (и наконец он добрался до берега).
