 Страхование на выплату ежемесячной ренты в случае потери дохода (Payment protection insurance — PPI), также известное как кредитное страхование (credit insurance или credit protection insurance), либо страхование возврата займа (loan repayment insurance), представляет собой страховой продукт, который позволяет клиентам страховать возврат займов на случай смерти, заболевания или нетрудоспособности заемщика либо потери им работы или наступления других обстоятельств, которые могут помешать получению дохода для обслуживания долга. Не следует путать данный вид страхования со страхованием от потери дохода (Income Protection Insurance-IPI), которое не связано непосредственно с долговыми обязательствами, а с покрытием возможной утраты какого-либо дохода вследствие болезни или несчастного случая. Ранее IPI называлось Permanent Health Insurance (PHI) или Постоянное медицинское страхование.

Имя региона происходит от латинского названия Alba реки Эльбы и относится к району, главным образом, располагавшемуся в северной части Нижней Эльбы. Сегодня он примерно соответствует региону Гольштейн (Holstein). Любители пива знают это название
