Love is happy this month – especially now that the dust from last month’s lunar eclipse is settling. The 7th and 8th could be stressful, but after that things look smooth. Venus moves into your sign on the 5th and stays there for the rest of the month. Like most things in your life, you’re having your way in love. The current love puts you first and caters to you. Singles don’t have to do much to attract love – love finds you. Just go about your daily business. The 11th and 12th look especially good for love. Children or children figures in your life are also having a good romantic month – the 9th and 10th are especially good for them. Young children are meeting new friends and having happy social experiences.

On April 5, as Venus moved into your 1st house, the planetary power shifted. Most of the planets are now below the horizon of your Horoscope. Your 10th house of career is still strong – so career is important, but it can be downplayed now. The next five or so months should be devoted to getting the home and emotional life in right order. These are the hidden foundations upon which one builds a career. These need tending now. So, handle what needs to be handled in your career, but your main thrust is to find and function from your emotional comfort zone. When this is found, the career will naturally prosper in due course.

You’re still very much in a yearly financial peak, until the 20th. Your money house is very powerful – and chock-full of beneficent planets. This is a period for happy money – money that is earned in happy and enjoyable ways. Your personal creativity is more marketable now. You have the financial favour of the spouse or current love – and of friends. Your social connections are more important than how much money you have. You end the month wealthier than you began it. The 2nd to the 4th and the 10th and 11th are nice paydays. There is luck in speculations those days.

From the 7th to the 14th – a whole week! – Mars has his solstice. Mars pauses in the heavens. This pause is in latitude not longitude. Mars will stay in the same latitude. This could make you feel that your life is on ‘pause’. It might be a good idea to take a break from the usual routine. It is a good time for parties and festivities, and especially good for spiritual work.

Venus will be in your money house until the 24th. Singles are attracted to the wealthy – the good providers – the givers of material gifts. Love is practical during that period. You show love in material ways and this is how you feel loved. On the 24th Venus enters Gemini, your 3rd house of communications, and good communication starts to become important in love.

Mental intimacy is very important in love, and if this is lacking even the richest person will not satisfy. This month – especially until the 18th – love is about communication. Sharing ideas. The thought process of the person must be alluring. You value intelligence over beauty and wealth. Thus you’re attracted to intellectual types these days, to writers, journalists, teachers and mental workers. Love opportunities for singles happen in educational settings – at lectures, seminars, workshops or school functions, perhaps even at the library or bookshop. Your search for intelligence can lead you way outside your normal social sphere, especially from the 13th to the 29th. Love is close to home this month, but even in your own neighbourhood, you find people outside your normal sphere.

On the 18th the needs in love change again. Venus enters the sign of Cancer, your 4th house. Now you look for emotional intimacy. You gravitate to those with whom you can easily share your feelings. This too could lead you outside your normal sphere. There is more moodiness in love during this period. The kind of mood you’re in defines whether love is happy or unhappy. This moodiness can be with you or with the partner – sometimes both. Don’t be surprised if an old flame comes back into the picture. Sometimes it is the actual person, sometimes it is someone who reminds you of the old flame. Usually this goes nowhere (but not always), but the good thing is that old love issues get resolved.

The financial intuition needs more verification on the 2nd and 3rd. Be careful of overspending on the 3rd and 4th. Overall health is good, but you should rest and relax more from the 21st onwards. The most important thing is to get enough rest and maintain high energy levels.
