Last month the planetary power shifted once again. Now the upper half of the Horoscope is overwhelmingly dominant. This sector was strong all year, but now even more so. At least 80 per cent (and sometimes 90 per cent) of the planets are in the upper half. This shows a strong career focus. A focus on the outer, worldly objectives. Your career planet, Uranus, has been in your spiritual 12th house for some years now. On the 9th, Mars, your spiritual planet, crosses the Mid-heaven and enters your 10th house of career. This is a very strong message and it reinforces what we’ve been seeing for some years now: the spiritual life, the spiritual practice, is ultra-important for the career. Spiritual insight and understanding will solve many career problems. If you’re involved in a worldly career, you enhance it by getting involved in charitable and altruistic activities. These seem more important than your professional achievements.

You’re still in the midst of a yearly love and social peak this month. Romance blooms. There is an especially happy romantic or social meeting on the 24th or 25th. Singles are meeting someone significant.

Venus, the ruler of your Horoscope, is ‘out of bounds’ all month. This shows that you’re moving outside your normal sphere this month. This is so on a personal level and in terms of your job. In health matters too you’re involved with the ‘unorthodox’. Health is more delicate this month – until the 22nd – and this is perhaps why you’re exploring unorthodox therapies. A good night’s rest will clear up most problems. You just need to maintain a high energy level. You can enhance your health by giving attention to the liver and thighs until the 12th. Thigh massage and a liver cleanse will be wonderful if you feel under the weather. After the 12th the spine, knees, teeth, bones, skin and overall skeletal alignment become important. Regular back and knee massage will do wonders. Good dental health is also important.

We see you going outside your normal sphere in finance too. Mercury is ‘out of bounds’ from the 19th to the 30th. Going a little ‘out of bounds’ is healthy for a Taurus. The tendency is to be too conservative – too stuck in your ways – and this often blinds you to opportunities.

Venus, your ruling planet, pauses in the heavens this month. She stays at the same latitude from the 13th to the 16th. This suggests a need for a cosmic pause in your activities. This pause is a good time for festivities, prayer and meditation. It is a pause that refreshes.

Venus is still ‘out of bounds’ until December 3. Thereafter she is back in bounds – and so it is with you. You’ve made a brief excursion to your ‘outer limits’ and now you’re going back to your normal sphere.

The month ahead looks very successful career-wise. The upper half of your Horoscope is still overwhelmingly dominant – often 90 per cent of the planets occupy the upper half. On the 7th Venus crosses the Mid-heaven and enters your 10th house. You’re very motivated career-wise. You’re focused. You love your career for its own sake. You seem elevated, raised in status. You’re recognized not only for your charitable works, but also for who you are. Personal appearance and overall demeanour seem ultra-important in the career. You’re the ‘image’ of success this month. Your good work ethic is noted by your superiors. Your career will be even better next month.

Health is much improved this month. You can enhance it further through back and knee massage (like last month) until the 7th and by ankle and calf massage after that. You’re more experimental in health matters after the 7th and are not as conservative as you usually are.

Finances look good too. Mercury, your financial planet, is still ‘out of bounds’ until the 17th. Thus you pursue earnings outside your normal sphere and perhaps with people outside your normal sphere. Until the 3rd you earn more and you spend more. But after the 3rd, as Mercury enters conservative Capricorn, the financial judgement becomes more sober. You’re more careful with your money. You take a step-by-step methodical approach to wealth. You’re working to build wealth for the long term. Taureans enjoy savings and investment plans, budgets, etc. and this is a good period – from the 3rd onwards – to set these things up if you haven’t already done so. On the 19th Mercury begins to go backwards again. Try to do your major holiday shopping before the 19th. Afterwards, as always, the goal is to gain mental clarity about finances. It is a period for study and review, not for making major purchases or investments.

Though you ended your yearly social peak last month, the month ahead still looks very social. Your love planet, Pluto, receives positive stimulation from the Sun and Mercury.
