Your 4th house of home and family was very strong last month and is still strong in the month ahead – until the 22nd. The planetary power, figuratively speaking, is furthest away from your career and outer activities. Thus these activities are less important for the moment. (Your career planet is still retrograde all month.) This will change in coming months, but this is the case now. The cosmos impels you to ‘cater to your base’ – the home, your family and your emotional life. The cosmos has its own way of arranging these things. You become more nostalgic. You remember – vividly – old, seemingly obscure events. The dream life becomes more active and you feel a need to ponder your dreams’ meanings. The urge to probe the unconscious and emotional side of life – the interior life – is stronger than the pulls of the outer world. The universe is not denying you a career or career progress – on the contrary, it is forcing you to become emotionally healthier and more stable so that future career progress can happen. Every now and then we have to go backwards in order to go forward. This is one of those times.

The month ahead is basically happy and healthy, but two eclipses will create excitement and change. You’re basically in a party period now. Your 5th house of fun and creativity became powerful on July 22 and is still powerful until the 22nd of this month. The eclipses might interrupt the party but they won’t stop it.

The Lunar Eclipse of the 7th is the stronger of the two – as far as you’re concerned. It affects Mars, the ruler of your Horoscope. So take it easy that period and avoid stressful situations. This eclipse occurs in your 11th house and affects family and friends. There are life-changing kinds of dramas happening with them. Repairs could be needed in the home. Its impact on Mars shows a need to redefine yourself and your image – the way you think about yourself and the way you want to be seen by others. This is generally a good thing. We are always changing and growing and every now and then we need a redefinition. But this seems to happen in a forced way. Events force the issue, and this can make it stressful or unwelcome. The marriage and social lives of children and children figures get tested. There is a crisis here.

The Solar Eclipse of the 21st occurs right on the cusp of your 5th and 6th houses – thus it impacts on the affairs of both these houses. This eclipse is strongest on children and children figures in your life. They have personal life-changing dramas. The children are redefining themselves now (especially the oldest) and this will manifest as a new look – a new image – a new presentation to the world. This will be a six-month process. They will also be forced to make important financial changes. You can have job changes and changes in your health regime.
