Гадание и его символика *

(1) Жюно [4, с. 571]: «Корзина гадальщика (у тсонга из Мозамбика) — это resume их социального порядка в целом, всех их институтов». Гадание ндембу выставляет наружу изнаночную сторону социальной жизни, подчеркивает скорее конфликт, чем норму. Символы представляют лишь те аспекты и институты общества, которые являются постоянной частью подоплеки тех ситуаций, когда возникает конфликт и нарушается порядок.

(2) Стало быть, высоко ценится человек, соблюдающий обычай.

(3) Ндембу наделяют tuponya, которые, по верованиям, могут мыслить и желать, также и индивидуальными качествами.
