Closing his front door, he flicked the locks and made his way up toward the nursery. He found Ty being fed, and he leaned against the doorframe, waiting for her attention.

“What do you think?” he asked.

“Ty’s alive and well, so I guess I overreacted.”

“Only overreacted?”
