Tony didn’t know how much longer she could stand there under the sensuous onslaught of her partner. Guiding them toward the bed, she laid down pulling Megan down with her.

Maneuvering herself over her lover, Tony lowered herself until she was supported with her elbows on either side of Megan. The swirling gold specks in the emerald green eyes that were darkened by desire captivated her. The phone rang and Megan picked it up.

"Hi Megan," Barbara said, "it’s Mom," she added unnecessarily.

Megan raised her eyebrows surprised. "Hi Mom," she said, not knowing what to expect.

It sounded so good to hear her daughter’s voice. Even though it had only been a week since she had seen her, it felt so much longer. Barbara did not agree with Charles, and had decided regardless of how he felt, she was not going to ignore her daughter. She had always supported him, even when she didn’t agree with his decisions. This was one time she couldn’t do that.

And she had to admit she was a little curious. Well ok, very curious about the FBI agent that had apparently stolen her daughter’s heart. What was so special about her that she would risk her father’s wrath? Surely she’d known what his reaction would be.

"Mom… you still there?"

"Yes dear, I’m here. I was wondering when we could go to dinner?" Barbara paused, and then added, "I mean all three of us. You and me and your friend. I’d like to meet her if she wants to come."

The small smile on Megan’s face grew in intensity, and she said, "Just a minute. Let me ask her."

Holding her hand over the mouthpiece, she said, "My mother wants to meet you and thought it would be nice if we could all go to dinner together."

Tony smiled warmly at her partner, and said, "Sure. Whenever you want, Love."
