• February 10 th: nations in the African continent join in a Southern Alliance.

• February 13 th: the area once known as Russia reunites under a common government and allows valuable heat to reach the northern areas and prevent further mass deaths due to weather extremes.

• March 5 th: Europe reestablishes the European Union.

• March 9 th: the United Western government sends SAFA troops to East Asia in an attempt to bring peace to the area.

• March 14 th: the United Western government sends SAFA troops to the Middle East for similar peacekeeping missions.

• March 18 th: China, Japan, South Korea, India, and a coalition of Middle Eastern nations declare war on the new United Western government in retaliation for unwanted peacekeeping efforts.

• March 20 th: SAFA troops begin withdrawing from the Middle East and East Asia to prevent nuclear retaliation.

• April 5 th: the United Western government ends all military involvement overseas.

• April 14 th: a coalition of China, Japan, South Korea, India, and the Middle Eastern coalition invites remaining Asian nations, Europe, Russian, the Southern Alliance, Australia, and the South Pacific to join them in a grand United Eastern government.

• April 30 th: the last of the remaining Asian nations joins the United Eastern government.

• June 1 st: Russia joins the United Eastern government.

• June 14 th: the Southern Alliance joins the United Eastern government after peacekeeping missions from the United Eastern government drastically reduce warfare and improve healthcare in Lower and Upper Africa.

• June 18 th: all nations in the South Pacific unanimously agree to join the United Eastern government.

• June 29 th: Australia refuses to join and United Eastern government troops invade.

• August 11 th: Australia’s existing government is toppled and Australia becomes part of the United Eastern government.

• September 30 th: initial work on PROJECT LETHE is completed and ATHEUS and MEDANE are given permission to survive by the United Western government.

2087 CE

• May 31 st: the European Union is the only government not part of a world government and is pressured to join the United Eastern World. Negotiations to join begin.

• October 27 th: the Sydney Peace Accord is proposed, two years after the third world war began. The main proposals: worldwide peace will be assured by the establishment of two world governments, to be divided by oceans, namely the United Western World, composed of the American continents and nearby islands, and the United Eastern World, composed of Eurasia, Africa, Australia, and the South Pacific; Research on díamonts will be forbidden; Conflicts between nations within each world government must be dealt with by the world government and not escalate into another world war.

• November 3 rd: negotiations between the European Union and the United Eastern World come to a standstill when the European Union refuses to join unless Europe is considered the primary nation-state of the world government.

2088 CE

• January 5 th: NeoLondon is chosen as the capitol of the United Eastern World and the European Union officially joins the United Eastern World.

• January 6 th: the Sydney Peace Accord is signed and put into law.

• January 16 th: the LETHE PROJECT is complete.

• January 17 th: LETHE, a díamont, kills SOREN and officially declares the Last War over.

Soren. FAILURE. First Díamont. Created 1.24.2067. Genetic enhancements introduced in the first trimester of carrier’s pregnancy. Able to switch between human and díamont form successfully until the age of 14. Inability to leave díamont form resulted in severe emotional disconnect and delusions.

Historical Notes: Escaped the Genome Compound 10.15.2085. Successfully detonated three nuclear bombs. Appeared at the Vatican 11.7.2085 and committed televised murder. Responsible for mass genocide across the globe. Captured 12.13.2085 in London with assistance from Atheus (díamont) and Medane (díamont). Destroyed by Lethe (díamont, Lethe Project) 1.17.2088.

Atheus. SUCCESS. Second díamont. Created 2.19.2067. Genetic enhancements introduced in the third trimester of carrier’s pregnancy. Able to switch between human and díamont form successfully. Currently involved in the government of the United Western World. Scheduled to be put to death by Lethe (díamont, Lethe Project) at first signs of mental instability.

Medane. SUCCESS. Third díamont. Created 4.2.2067. Genetic enhancements introduced in the third trimester of carrier’s pregnancy. Able to switch between human and díamont form successfully. Currently involved in the government of the United Eastern World. Scheduled to be put to death by Lethe (díamont, Lethe Project) at first signs of mental instability.
