Я хочу познакомить вас с роботом из Будапешта. Его зовут Этон, и разработчики из университетской лаборатории сделали его [58]похожим не на человека, а на собаку. Правда на данной стадии исследований он выглядит, скорее, как самоходная газонокосилка.
Если все пойдет как задумано, вскоре Этон сможет «слушать» и реагировать на простые команды. Словами он общаться не будет, а станет использовать собачий язык тела и всякие забавные звуки (вспомните R2-D2, щебетавшего как птичка). Возможно, со временем потомки Этона поселятся в домах инвалидов и престарелых. Они возьмут на себя функции терапевтических собак, но не будут зависеть от хозяев и смогут постоянно находиться на рабочем месте, хоть круглые сутки.
